Honda Super Meet Brings the Heat to Irwindale Speedway

Latest Honda Super Meet once again brought hundreds of amazing curated builds to SoCal.

For Honda fans (and automotive fans in general), Southern California is a mecca of sorts, one filled with amazing builds and equally amazing venues to show them off at. That includes the Honda Super Meet, which just wrapped up its latest showing at Irwindale Speedway, a show that never fails to attract some of the finest Honda/Acura builds on earth. Honda-Tech was on hand to soak it all in personally, and it was well worth the short trip to see some pretty incredible creations of all kinds.

The Honda Super Meet offers up plenty of appeal for enthusiasts of the brand, including the main attraction – a car show. But that isn’t the only thing one has to do at this particular extravaganza, which also serves up a swap meet and plenty of hot racing action, with the ability to buy and sell entire vehicles and parts ranging the spectrum from JDM goodies to run-of-the-mill stuff that you might be seeking to finish off that next build.

Put on by Import Expo, the Honda Super Meet is the perfect way to capitalize on the hot import scene that’s been present in SoCal for years, and it does exactly that in a masterful way. Organizers retain the right to curate the cars that attend the show itself, a strategy that prioritizes quality over quantity, though there were ultimately hundreds of cars present – literal rows and rows of head-turning rides to scope out.

As is usually the case, the venerable Civic mostly dominated the scene with virtually every generation represented, but there were also plenty of Integras and S2000s to check out as well. From mild to wild, pretty much everything a hardcore Honda fan might enjoy was present and accounted for, making this a fantastic way to spend a typical sunny afternoon, in our humble opinion.
