2022 Acura Long Beach Grand Prix Coming April 8-10

World-class racing, family entertainment, and interactive product displays will all be part of the 2022 Acura Ling Beach Grand Prix.

The 2022 Acura Long Beach Grand Prix will run from April 8-10. And the best news of all is that all COVID mandates will be lifted! No mask protocols or vaccine requirements, just good old fashioned automotive fun.

Racing is of course the cornerstone of the event, but there is so much more to enjoy. There are activities for the whole family including an opportunity for the little ones to drive their own race cars. In addition, there will be a host of interactive product and service displays.

Just click here. The event is expected to draw over 180,000 fans during the 3-day, 2-night festival. Below are some of the highlights these fans can expect to see.

Racing

There will be five different racing events, with the headline being the NTT INDYCAR SERIES race. Last year the winner was Colton Herta driving his Honda-powered car to victory. In addition, the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship will be running. If you like your racing a little more sideways then you will want to see the Super Drift Challenge.

Maybe you are more of a truck fan? Well, the SPEED Energy Stadium SUPER Trucks series is for you. And finally, the Porsche fans will have something to cheer about during the Porsche Carrera Cup North America races.

Family Fun

The Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach will have a family fun zone to keep family members of all ages entertained. There will be rock climbing walls, games, video games and racing simulators for the family to enjoy. Do you have little ones coming with you? Kids 3-to-6 years old can race in their very own race cars!

On Sunday the Mothers Exotic Car Paddock will be stocked with over 100 exotic sports cars on display including Ferraris, Porsches, and much more. And no festival would be complete without food trucks. There will be several of them to keep guests fed and hydrated.

Lifestyle Expo

The Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach will have more than 100 displays featuring the latest in automotive, home, recreation, travel and entertainment products and services. There will also be a host of Green Technology exhibits that will highlight hybrid, electric, hydrogen and biodiesel cars.

There will even be energy-saving products for the home on display. Don’t think you will find anything that interests you? Think again. There will be over 270,000 square feet of exhibit space in the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center.

Concert

On Saturday night on the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center Terrace Plaza, Grand Prix fans will see all-star rock band Royal Machines – with special guests – presented by Acura and ASM Global. The show is free to Saturday race ticket holders but space is limited so get there early to ensure you get in.
