We can always count on That Racing Channel to bring us some exciting high-performance machines. In one of its recent videos, the YouTube channel gives us an in-depth look at a 1500 HP Honda Civic. Kevin Aleman is the proud owner of this track monster, which is called “El Violento.” The 17-year old Aleman ran his first 7-second pass back in December 2021.

The car’s best quarter-mile time was 7.803 seconds at the event, with an exit speed of 187.86 MPH. As a result, Aleman now holds the spot for the second quickest SFWD Honda Civic. Kevin built this car with his father, Nelsito Aleman, who Kevin also raced on the drag strip. Aleman Senior currently holds the record for the fastest Civic in the Sport Front Wheel Drive class. That is until Kevin beats his record in the El Violento.

Kevin shared his experience of drag racing his 1500 HP Honda Civic. “I’ve been around racing since I was little. My dad has always been doing racing. So, I’ve been learning since I was little, and so, to be competing against him now, it feels great, and to beat him feels even better,” said Kevin.
