Re: Write-Up: DIY Front Wheel Bearing Replacement

That is practically the same way I did mine a few months ago. The only slight differences was that I cut notches into the inner race so that I could pull it off with a gear puller and I used an old...

Re: crx water leak

This is most likely your answer. If the seam sealer is cracked around your hinge area for your hatch you'll get water running down the c-pillar and out through the gas shock mount locations.

Re: Need help, doing a civic 4wd swap

That's exactly what I was thinking, along with a custom oil pan to clear the trans but other then that it would be pretty much a bolt-in affair...

My opinion, either swap the final drive from the 4 speed into the si transmission or get a DX trans.

Re: how to bring in the wheels a little?

Re: 4sp trans into a 5sp car...

Strictly speaking from a mechanical sense the only problem you would have would depend on what year the two transmission are coming from.

1988 - 20 Spline, 180mm flywheel (from memory don't...

Re: My V8 crx build! yep its real

Exterior wise the only thing I would do is run around with some trim paint and black out the side moldings again...

Re: My V8 crx build! yep its real

Nice, I think a T-56 would be insane but any manual trans would still be sick. But yeah mad props on the build and the stockish looking outcome.

Re: My V8 crx build! yep its real

Re: help with 89 crx si seats

Well even with the 89 rails they wouldn't bolt into a hatch, you best bet would be to do a seat pan swap

Pictures are broken but the text gives you an idea on what to do....
