The issue is that the bracket I think is where the problem lies.

Is there a way I can effectively grind off part of the pad holder set to make this a permanent fix?

Ac swap is super easy if you know what you're doing. The thing is that your system uses the old r12 system and getting refrigerant for it won't be something you can get anymore because it banned....

lol not crazy just a big Honda fan but moreso an EF guy like many of the members of HT.
