Check how tight that belt is, push in the middle of it and see how far you can press it in, you shouldn't be able to wiggle it any more thatn .25-.50 inches. If you can, tighten them up.

My suggestion is to practice using the e-brake. If you're understeering try to enduce oversteer to neutralize the car. Pull the brake not enough, you're still understeering, pull it and keep it there...

It can cost even more, depending on clutch, flywheel, you need a starter, you need to FIND a 94 lx ecu, which is hard. Also, $450 is too much for a tranny, i got one for $365 shipped, w/ 65,000 miles...

Here's a question, do you like torque? If yes, then F22 will work, but R&D on FI parts for F22's aren't as developed as the H22's market. 350-400 whp on an F22 will give you an ass-load of torque...
