Default manual conversion wiring for obd2 5th gen

I am looking into the swap, I am on a budget and dont want to spend alot, my main concern is the wiring. I have an obd2 96 accord. I am not sure which tranny and ecu to get or if it even matters. Do i need an obd2 tranny or can i use an obd1?
The obd2 has a single ecu with the tcu built in and the obd1 has a separate tcu. I have read the swap articles and they all talk about unpluggin the separate tcu and then tricking the ecu to think it is in park. Does this work on the obd2 swap.
Do I need a manual ecu or can i use the auto? Another concern is when a car is in park, the Vtec does NOT engage, so why would i want to trick the ecu to stay in park? I guess I'm wrong if so many have done this swap without thinking about this.
Does anybody have a wiring diagram for this swap or do i use the obd1 instructions?
Please help, I am really, really confused

get an obd2 manual ecu unless you plan on doing an obd1 conversion

the only reason you have to wire/switch the car into park is so the interlock switch will let your key out of the ignition. if you dont it wont let you get the key out.

when i was running the auto ecu after my conversion with the shift selector in park, my car ran fine, now that i got a manual ecu i dont feel a difference at all.

So, I need an obd2 manual ecu.
For the wiring, wire to make it think its in park, wire a clutch engage sensor, wire the backup lights...is that it for the interior?
On the tranny I need to wire the speed sensor...is that it?

I just plug in the manual ecu even after i make the auto ecu think its in park?

I want to be 110% sure I know what to do before I go spend all this money and time.

Step 1: Unplug Auto ECU
Step 2: Purchase manual ECU & http://www.d-a-p.com (I got mine from here, good price, great service)
Step 3: Plug in Manual ECU

That should be just about it.

when you unplug the plugs from the auto shifter. There are two main plugs...one two wire plug with thick wires and one big plug with alot of wires. Jump the two thick wires on the brown two wire plug for the starter. Then on the big grey plug...on the lower row. Plug the two wire backup sensor wire to the middle pins next to each other for reverse. Jump the two pins on the outside of the two middle reverse pins to trick it into PARK.
