It is the red/black wire going to the white connector right above the fuse panel.
What brand alarm is it you have? Is it switching the correct logic? i.e. that needs a + O/P not a -.

Remember there are a couple of heat-shields in the stock set-up: there is the panel that fits under the tool-well (that had the blanket fitted to) and there is a heat-shield on the stock muffler...
