Re: 91 Accord....Rotor question?? (GSR-REX)

When I changed my rotors, I was able to get one out by whacking it from behind with a sledgehammer. That turned out to be too much af a pain and a dumb idea anyway, so for the other side I just took...

Re: 1990 accord popin a fuse (greensleeper)

Check all your right hand turn signal bulbs and sockets. There might be a short in the socket if it's rusted out or you could have a wire that was rubbing against metal and creating a short. DO NOT...

Re: Battery or electrical problem? (Gen4-5Door)

Re: I'd like to put ABS in my 4g sedan (D114)

I'm no expert on this, but I would imagine it would be way too costly to be practical, unless you got a good deal on a wrecked EX w/abs. I would guess you will need the sensors, new axles, the abs...

Re: Anyone have some pics of 91-93 Accords? TIA (psyphre)

http://g-rath.servebeer.com/cars.htm

If it's an EX, there ARE 4" up front in a ported enclosure. I modified it to fit a 5 1/4", or you can just make your own mounting baffle out of MDF, and...

Re: tire suggestions ( Brandon)

Dunno what you consider cheap, but I liked my Yoko A520. They gripped well for autox but wore out quickly. They were about $110 a piece at the time. Also about a month ago Tire rack had a...

Re: 91 Radio/speakers (93accordEX)

Yup, just use a nut driver w/a long extension and a swivel joint and a 8mm socket.

Re: Accord engine seen in a commercial (Razor)

A friend of mine used to have a 5spd Rodeo (Passport) with a big shot of NOS and he used to 14.7's, in full trim including the spare in the back! The announcers at the track would call it "world's...

Re: Accord engine seen in a commercial (Vantage)

I saw that too. They also showed a MINI tachometer and what looked to be IS 300 A/C controls.

Re: legend vs. accord v6 calipers (TypeSH)

I had the Legend calipers on my accord and although I can't compare to the v6 calipers, I definitely was better compared to stock. I also did not have a soft pedal, and that was with the stock...

Re: Compartment below the cd/cassette player? (tornactive.com)

Pretty much all hondas with a radio/pocket in a double-din opening will have the same size pocket, although the earlier (4th and 5th gen accord) pockets attach to the radio and the newer ones attach...

Re: antenna broken, replacing with a universal....but.... (AmginE)

There's not really much you can do, other than changing the head unit. A booster may or may not work as those are designed mainly for old school manual tune radios with knobs. My suggestion would...

Re: 2Piston Legend Calipers on my SIR Accord! *pics* (Wont be beat)

I heard they have a cut-off of 80 cars and if you don't preregister you might not get in. Is this true? If I still have my car, I'll probably show up anyway. It's been a while since I ran there.

Re: Help with front rotor change! (martaigne)

I agree, If I had to do it again, that's what I would do. I had to take the hub to a shop to get the inner race of the old bearing off anyway.
