Why are you doing the rear? To match up the number of lugs? Do I smell 5th gen Prelude wheels in your future?
that would be nice

UPDATE:
I went to Autozone and rented a two-jaw puller in order to follow the shop manual instructions. When I got the lower control arm disconnected and the axle out of the spline hole, the damn assembly still wouldn't come off after I took off the four 10mm bolts!! I hit that sumbish hard with a hammer and it still wouldn't budge! So...I put it all back together and tonight I am going to try the Slide Hammer method.
I know, I know..I should have done the slide hammer thing last night, but for some stupid reason I decided to follow the instructions in my shop manual. I'll never doubt you guys again!

Dont feel too bad, I have personally seen it done with a puller, but with a rachet gun doing the turning.

I agree man...but I am way to deep into this to bail out now. I have now rented the slide hammer, so tonight when I get home, Its ON! I can't really quit now anyway..even if I wanted to.
While I was taking off the wheel, one of the lug stud's sheared off (It had been cross-threaded by the idiot that put her (my sister)new tires on a few months ago )...so, #1, I can't put the wheel back on and drive it safely and #2, she let the pads go for so long that the pad had worn down to the backplate...destroying the rotor.
So, as you see...I am up to my eyeballs in this chit
Got no choice but to march on like a good little soldier!
Onward and Upward.................

Its ON!
Actually I hope for your sake it's OFF! if you know what i mean.

not that you would want to but the Accord's wheels are hubcentric so the lugs only hold the wheel. You could roll on three nuts if you had to in a pinch.

I've driven my car to a shop on two lugs before. Only a mile and half at 5 mph stopping every 200 hundred to check it.... But it held tight and got me there.

When I changed my rotors, I was able to get one out by whacking it from behind with a sledgehammer. That turned out to be too much af a pain and a dumb idea anyway, so for the other side I just took out the whole knuckle and had the rotor pressed off at a shop. Much easier that way.

I hope somebody's out there.
I can't get that $#@!#$%^% hub off! I have slammed on that thing for 45mins and I don't even think it has budged one bit!! My arms are like jello right now because I have been going at it nonstop.

What I am doing wrong?? It can't be this hard to change rotors!

I have the slide hammer set up on the hub, the hub is disconnected from the rotor, and the the axle nut is off. Is there a bolt somewhere that I'm missing? It won't budge!
Please help...Thanks!
:drinks a cool and waits for help to arrive:

Some of them can be a bitch. Keep on hammering. And be prepared for some sore forearms tommorow.

Can anybody send me a picture of where I should be looking to see if I making progress. When I look arround the spline hole, I'm not sure which is hub and which is bearing.
Any helpful pics would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

using a slide hammer is the HARD way of doing this IMO. ive changed the rotors god know how many times since i bought this car somewhere in the mid 90's

just take the whole f'ing hub/bearing out of the knuckle next time and use a lead pipe/3lb sledge. dont waste your time dicking with a slide hammer.
