B18C5 into a 90 civic hatch back, anyone?
im just wondering who has done this swap on their obd-0 car? and how crazy would the wireing be? cuz i heard that it would be ridiculous, convering obd-0 to obd-1 then convering the obd-2 type R engine to obd-1 and finally coming to running the car obd-1 status.

Perhaps 5 minutes of searching for b18c5 in the EF forum. All contain at least 1 post about the wiring differences between the two OBD's.

Do you want me to look through all of the possible posts about conversions? They are on here....please...Im begging you....do a search on your own, and spend more than 19 min looking.
Odds are unless you just stroked a d series into a 1.7L (which has now been done
) with stock honda parts....its been covered on this site. Prove me wrong and Ill paypall you $5usd.

Yeah dude learn to search, there is a ton of info on this forum. Basicly you need to do a b-series swap, and an obd-1 conversion. It's really easy stuff, and like you stated before you have to convert the motor to 0bd-1 also. It's not that big of a deal.
Here is a little site that I just started, makes wiring a snap. http://www.geocities.com/droppedcrxsi_wiring

Swapping in a B18C5 is no more difficult than swapping in a B18C1. As for the wiring, if you use a 1996-1998 JDM P73, it is no more difficult to wire up the ECU plugs than, say, a P28 or P30. In fact, it is a little easier since you don't have to worry about a purge valve or VTEC pressure switch. If you go with the 1996-1998 USDM P73, it is only a little more difficult than a 1992-1995 ECU, since you only have to worry about wiring a second oxygen sensor in addition to the OBDI sensors. 1999+ ECUs are MUCH more difficult to wire up in a 1988-1991 car.
