Default guage pod installation

I just got a dual guage pod by autometer for my civic. it says it's just for 2/3 doors but it looks like it'll fit fine in my sedan. Now my question, did you guys drill a hole into your pillar for the guage wires or run them somewhere else? I didn't really see how i could run them through the pillar and where they come out at the bottom. Also, did you drill the pod into the pillar or use double sided tape? Thanks for any help!

hmm, I can't really picture that in my head. You mean you cut out a square that big and ran wires through that out you mounted the pod with that hole?
