skunk 2 ecu program
i am considering getting the skunk 2 ecu program, i tried to search on here but got nothing, i am just wondering if anybody has ran it, or heard good/bad things about it. any help is greatly appreciated. thank you in advance.
The Skunk 2 ECU is a great investment. I had a one in my honda and couldnt believe the punch it gave me. This ECU is the only one to go with because the reliable name. The Vtec kicks in very hard and i do recomend the controller it helped me a bunch. If you have everything which calls for it it will bring out your car. Evrything else you ever put on it will actaully gain more than it would if you kept the stock ECU. If you have all stock internals rev to 8500 rpm. This is the peak hp spot. buy it its worth every penny. Easy hook up.

Seriously. That program sucks. It's a hack of the Mugen ROM.
You will get:
knock sensor disabled
ELD disabled
No VTEC speed check
No VTEC oil pressure check
o2 sensor disabled
closed loop disabled
PA sensor disabled
You will have shitty fuel economy because the ECU will be running directly off of maps that are way too rich. o2 sensor AFR correction is disabled. There are very few engine safeguards still left in place.

True. But:
1. His ECU will still be stuck in open loop
2. The fuel controller will cost an additional $200+, money that could be used towards a EPROM programmer and the other associated hardware to use Crome or Uberdata.
