Any bend is bad for air flow. The bigger the radius the better. All those tight 90 degree bends are not good...

Think of it as a Garden hose.......it still flows the same if its in a straight line or weither its coiled up, only when the line becomes "kinked" does flow become slow.

316- 8 gauge
321- 16 gauge

both are stainless steel.

8 gauge probably. It's thicker.

The 8 gauge will be stronger (due to its thickness) and less expensive. 321 is the best stainless alloy in terms of heat tolerance, but it is very expensive. One of 316's most desirable characteristics is its resistance to salt-water corrosion. It is used a lot in boat applications.

Burns makes all of their high end stuff out of 321. 304 is a good choice between price and strength/corrosion resistance.

That would be wicked, but wouldn't the cans either explode under boost or collapse under vacuum because of the wall thickness? If not, I think that would be hardcore to the max .

Tell Tinker to do it. He's insane, he'll do anything.

Till you hit a speed bump and it moves a little and tears your coors light 12 pack in half. it'll definately be a challenge, cause in order to use the cans you have to first drink them all. so welding them one at a time that's about one beer a minute.

Cody's definately down though, just give it a week and he'll have it done. lol

lol. First I want to make a mountain bike frame using pop cans as a downtube. Itd take more than a week, my del slo is taking up any extra free time that I may have(or collector cutting time).

I just use 1/8th inch thick IC end tanks. Fairly easy to work with, and you can cruise along because the amperage can be turned up w/out as much worry of burn-through.
