Default VAFC settings. Need a quick answer. Thanks guys

Ok, I just purchased my GSR a little while ago and went through the VAFC settings and all the other stuff with it tonight. I noticed when I went into the VTEC engagment it read as follows.....
L>H...4700rpm
H>L...4600rpm

The car had toda spec B cams on it before I purchased it and i was wondering if maybe the vtec should be changed back to 4400 or if those are the correct settings it should be on. All my mods are in my sig. I was just wondering if I was running the car at the wrong setting therefore creating something wrong or maybe losing power. Please help me out guys. Thanks in advance

up because I need some more answers. I have got a few and all of them have different setting point suggestions. Anybody know where exactly they are supposed to be for my best power situation with my setup. I can't get to a dyno or tune right now so best bet I want to put it at stock and have vtec kick it at 4400 but which setting should be at 4400 and what should the other one be at(for all of you with the vafc that have it on stock settings). I am gettin itr cams and aem cam gears then im making the long travel to a dyno and tunist. I can't make the trip now so thats out of the question. Thanks guys look forward to hearing some responses

Um, if you've got B's in there the first thing I would do is call up whoever you bought it from and ask him if he ever got it tuned. If he did, don't lay a finger on the VAFC. If he didn't, or if he got it tuned without the VAFC, I'd still leave it and then go get it tuned myself.

The car has stock GSR cams in it. It used to have spec B's. So, right now its got stock cams and all the mods in my sig. it was tuned before but had to be set back because of the cam changeover when i purchased the car. Thanks for anyone that can give me some feedback. I appreciate it

Oh, my mistake. Set your vtec back to 4400 like Tweak said.

it won't let you do 4400 on both the hi and lo, so just do 4300/4400 or similar.

I was told the settings had to be 300rpm differential from teh l-h...h-l....

so i was thinkin 4400.....4100 would be the stock setup....anybody have a vafc with the stock settings out there???? anybody know what i should be running at. thanks.

Settings don't HAVE to be 300 rpm apart for stock cams. Follow the advice above and set h>l to 4400 and l>h to 4300. Of something similar.

Dude, you just got the same exact answer from three different people. How many more opinions do you need?

The answer is

L-H....4400
H-L...4000

found it on team-integra. those are the settings that are stock on a gsr ....thats why I didn't really jump on the 4400/4300 thing because it was like a guess. I understood the 4400 part but the other number....Its "supposed" to be a 300 rpm differential. But maybe thats after its tuned. Either way I found the stock settings and thats what they are if anyone needs to know. Thanks for the replies
