Default uberdata questions?

Alright, I am looking into adding an uberdata to my p72 ecu, now my question is, I am planning on taking it into a local shop to be dynoed and tuned, will they be able to program the ecu, they are trying to get me to buy a hondata but because I am a poor college kid I would prefer to save money and just do the job myself.

thanks
JR

If they can tune Hondata, they can tune Uberdata. They are both the Honda ECU, and as such are oddly similar.

alright thanks, my room mates is an electircal engineer so he should be able to help with all the work and such, I just didn't want to do the mod then find out I can only do the adjustments not the tuning shop.

thanks

they will touch it because I am payind $300 for them to tune it, they don't care what they have to tune as long as I pay the dyno cost.

thanks

If they can tune hondata they should be able to figure out uberdata right away.
