i going to get hondata and a obd 1 conversion kit i was just wondering if you have to get the hondata tuned

mm hondata is the ecu right =P i was told if i ever wanted to get an aftermarket ecu that i would have to dyno tune it for it to be any good.

Hondata is a piggy back for the ECU. It needs to be tuned. You can download base maps into it for the time being, but I believe you'd have to pay for the 'ROM' Editor option. I'd find someone to tune it and install it at the same time.
