Type-R lsd install question
I'm installing a Type-R lsd into my 2000 Civic SI. I have a couple of questions on it. I had assumed you could use the stock ring gear but it obviously does not fit so I am just wondering if you have to get the type r ring gear? Also, since I didn't have the right ring gear I installed the differential to check and see what 80mm shim to order. I got it into the case and have it seated all the way down but when I measure the gear side to figure out what shim to order its like .147" of gap. and the shims only got to .0768". Am I just supposed to put a couple of them together to make up the difference or is there another problem. Also I swapped the tapered roller bearings for the enclosed ball bearings.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If anyone could point me in the right direction to find some more information. I've been searching and have come up with no good answers. Any info. would be greatly appreciated
