Default SOHC ZEX cam timing question HELP?

Ok friend has a SOHC OBD2 CIVIC EX car has mid-zex cam in it with cam gear... what should we doo.. advance gear 3 degrees??? and leave ignition timing stock... or advance ignition timing too??? also what is stock ignition timing on that car??? Please help...

ok bro. you should really search first but heres your answers anyway.

everytime you adjust the cam timing (cam gear) the ignition timing needs to be reset cause the dissy is cam driven.

the stock ignition timing for that motor is 12* BTDC.

and the only way to properly tune cam timing is with a dyno. cause all your doing is adjusting the the powerband.

now my question: exactly which cam did he get i'm interested in one my self.
