SiR integra(auto) b18c cam profile different to manual??

SiR integra(auto) b18c cam profile different to manual??
Is the cam profile on auto equiped integras not as mild as the manual??
I ask this caus eive just done a convetion into my civic of a auto integra and the redline in the tacho is was a 7500 on the integra dash and the vtec engagement is so quite the guys at the dyno thought my vtec wasnt engaging.
I have a SRI by the way and its very hard to hear it engage..
