Default auto or manual, is there a difference in cams?

Was wondering if there were any differences in cam profiles in an automatic or manual equiped engine? Specifically 94+ gsr. Or is it that auto only cam with single valve spring as compared to dual in tha manual?

A local engine machine/tuning shop once measured b16a auto and manual cams, and the results came up different.
