No dont buy a new fan just yet. The fan turns on when the thermostat gets hot. You can always test the fan by jumping wires to it.
Change out the thermostat first. I think theres a trick to see if it works by placing the thermostat into a pot of boiling water and seeing if it moves. Search it up.

I was wondering if anyone could suggest a reputable general maintenance shop. My friend just got an '03 Accord, and she needs brakes and who knows what in the future, and she's not the type to work on her own car. If it matters, she lives in Ocean Beach. Any help would be appreciated
