Default pisons through bottom?

Does anyone install their pistons and rods through the bottom of the block before the crank after installing the head. I was thinking about this the other night while going to sleep and I think things would go smoother...
block to head, then pistons and rods, then crank, then accessories.

-edit-
Lets just be clear that I am talking about pisons, not pistons

The pisons can't go through the bottom of the block. The casting for the sleeves and main saddles are in the way.
