Here's what you need
obd1 or obd2 b-series vtec distributor
4 wire o2 sensor
obd2-->obd1 conversion harness

no. Your obd2 injectors will work.

Why would I need an obd1 or obd2 vtec distributor if I have a GSR (vtec) ??? And what's the difference between the P72 and P28 ???

ok, more info is needed ...

Are you wanting to pull your 97 GSR motor in favor for an OBD1 motor? or do you just want to change your ecu to OBD1 spec?

If just the ecu is all you want to do, all you need is an OBD2A->OBD1 jumper harness and OBD1 P72 ecu. NO need to convert your injectors, distributor, etc. to OBD1, just the ecu side is all that needs to be changed.

P72 is a GSR ecu, P28 is a SOHC VTEC ecu which can be reprogrammed to DOHC VTEC spec. IMO, its best if you find a stock OBD1 GSR (P72) ecu.
