I was looking into getting a b17a head to match with my b18c1 block. I've already done a search and i found little information about that setup. I was looking for anybody that has or had some experience with this setup. Any information at all would be awesome...

its the same as a b16a head, search under poor mans type r, you will also loose about .5 in compression.

 

.5 from what a gsr should be, or what the compression would be with the b16 head

with the pr3 head you loose .2 compression over the p72

 

stock US GSR engine puts out 10.1 cr
putting a B16A head on withh lower the CR to about 9.8...almost perfect for turbo compression.
