Default nitrous vs. forced induction

hey i searched for this and didn't have any luck so please don't flame me if i missed something..

anyways to my question...

suppose one was to drive a Honda for everyday driving: school, groceries, etc. Wants the car(engine) to last for a decent amount of time but still wants decent times down the quarter mile....which would b the best way to go? turbo or nitrous?

like a nitrous system and getting some performance internals, a lil weight reduction, etc, and b able to use the nitrous only when wanting to race...??

or go with forced induction?

which would b better for the longevitity of the engine..??

thanks i would really appreciate any help...

nitrous is less work to install and you can use it when you want to.
