Exhaust and Intake
I know that nitrous is the devil for some but my friend wants a quick gain. What system would you all recomend barring that he would like to use this god forsaken substance. Later on he will be building it into a 2.0 liter turbo so this could be used to spool the turbo. Since we will probably drop compression to 8.5 to 1 he might need to spray and pray. Please if anyone could tell me something about nitrous on hondas it would be greatly appreciated.

Nitrous is great as long as you know how much to spray. He'll definitely need a clutch. The SI will be able to handle a 70hp shot. As for the brand, I'd say NOS because they've been around the longest and most of the really fast guys use them, and also have the best tech line, but you'll hear different things from different people.

 

nothing wrong with nitrous. its just like any other FI application.

 

Nitrous is not bad.....Im planning to put a 75 direct port wet shot in my rig......Hopefully it will be the diffrence between running a 13 and a 12

Just make sure you study up on the use of it. Adding the right amount of fuel and adding the right amount of ignition retard is essential to safe use.

It can either be your friend or your enemy. If used incorrectly it could eat your engine for breakfast and crap it out before 8AM!

yeah what everyone else said nitrous is not bad as long as you know the do's and dont's of it
