Need some help with my K20 EJ.
I bought an EJ with a K20 swap. It also has KPRO. My problem is with the temperature gauge and the fan. Im not quite sure where to start. I had the car tuned a week ago and the data logging shows the cars temperature. When I got the car the fan was locked up so I ordered a new one. Installed it last night and as soon as you turn the key on, car cold, the fan constantly runs so that explains why the old fan died. Haha So my question is, where do I start trouble shooting to find out why the temperature gauge on the dash doesnt work, and why the fan is constantly on? It has the one wire (guesing) temperature sender in the radiator hose. Its mounted into a little block inbetween on the top radiator hose. Not sure where the wire goes, as far as I can see it goes to the drivers side of the firewall. If you need any other information to help me out, Ill do my best. Thanks for the help!

I just tried a few things. I replaced the fan relay, still stays on when the car is cold. Checked the fan fuse, its good. I unplugged the temp sending unit in the radiator hose, fan still stays on. Just a few things I found to try with the search button. None of them worked.
Temperature gauge works now. The block that the temp sending unit is in was not grounded.
Talked to the previous owner of the car and he said the fan switch wires were jumpered together hence why the fan constantly runs. But Ive been looking everywhere and cant find where they did it at.

Woah woah woah!! Not everyone at once.....
Cant find out where they rigged the fan up. Installing a temp controller. Bought it for $20at vatozone. Came with a relay, fuse, & thermo fan switch. All problems fixed...
