Default Help! Fan won't turn on!

The fan in my car won't turn on for some reason and is causing my temp gauge to rise a little above half in traffic. Once I am moving it quickly cools down. I have replaced the thermo switch, fan relay, and tested the fan and everything is fine. What else could it be? Has anyone had any problems hooking it up for constant power? Please give me some advice the wheather is getting hotter!!

Did you check the fuse (under the hood)?

Simple things first..

I checked the fan and it works fine, I checked the fuses and they are all good. I can't seem to narrow down what it is.
What is the best way to wire it to be on always and is there any downfall to this?

wire it directly using a 5 pin relay to run costantly instead of running it to a switch, to where it switches on when key is on
