Icon6 Radiator Help AGAIN !

ok so i JUST replaced the radiator BRAND NEW and the fan BRAND NEW
but my fan is STILL not turning on -_-
the person before me kinda cut the wiring for the fan so we had to make our own connectors using male connectors & it worked
We took a wire & directed it straight to the battery to check it & the fan turned on perfectly
But last night on my way home from the races my temp gauge started going UP AGAIN !!! i was waiting for my fan to kick on & it didnt happen at all !

can anyone help me trouble shoot the relay or find where its losing power from which is preventing it from turning on. anything can help

If you jump the 2P fan switch connector on the thermostat housing, does the fan now run continuously in ON(II)?

is there any way i can run the fan motor directly so that it turns on once the car is turned on ? like to an ignition relay or something
that way it'll stay on until the car shuts off, preventing the car from overheating

I think he means to jump the switch that controls turning the fan on & off. Then the car would try to turn the fan on continuously whenever the key is on. But if the fan won't run when you hook 12 volts directly to it I don't see how jumping the switch is going to help.

ok but where is that switch located ? is it the plug thats bolted on the fan shroud itself ?
the motor does work, its gotta be an electrical problem, a short or something. cause we directly connected it to test it yesterday & it turned on perfectly

guess you can't read.
fan runs PERFECT WHEN IT IS JUMPED.
theres a brown, 2 wire plug on the thermostat housing. jump the plug by taking 1 paper clip and inserting one side into the metal prong, take the other side of the paper clip and insert it into the other metal prong. Fan should come on, and if it does this means that the sensor which this plug goes into is bad, replace it. if it doesn't come on then you have either a wiring issue or a bad ground.

as you guys can see, the plug was cut on the fan shroud so we had to make our own connector for it

Jump the plug for the thermoswitch in the diagram. It looks like the upper pug in your diagram.
