I was doing a search on here because I wanted to learn more about Fatory honda ECUs. I dont care a ton, because I'm running a standalone, but I wanted to be informed in case someone asked me.
My question is based on the fact that I went to a website, and saw "P28" and then next to it "OBD1 92-95 civic si/ex" those are both D-series motors, but whenever you hear about ecu's, you always hear about P28 ECUs. so I was wondering if you can indeed use this D series ECU with a B series motor, without problems, and also, that implies that the same can be said about wiring harnesses?
thanks for the help

Yes, the pin outs are the same. Except the P28 does not use the Knock Sensor nor control the secondary butterflies. So, if you have a B-series motor without a dual plane manifold you should be able to run a P28 or P30 without any problems.
