Brake master cylinder

Will a JDM right hand drive brake master cylinder work on USDM cars without and problems?

As long as you have a booster it bolts to. Some bolt up at the 1 oclock, and the 7 oclock, others bolt up at the 11 oclock and the 5 oclock. Where it's from doesn't matter, it is whether or not it is ABS or non ABS. Here is a visual to help you out...
