Default question about p28 ecu...

If i have a b16a and i'm using an obd2-1 jumper .. can i use a regular p28 or will i have to get the hondta or get it chipped to make it work right?

Yes the stock p28 will work, but the maps are totally off and also your VTEC engagement will be off along with a lower redline. Basically it will run like SHIAT

You can run the stock P28 ecu to get around....but it's highly suggested to have it reprogrammed to DOHC VTEC spec, as the stock P28 fuel maps aren't sufficient enough for a B-series engine not to mention an early redlind of 7200rpm -- hence the 'shittyness' of using a stock P28 ecu w/a B-series engine.
