mini me question

Default mini me question

i got all the parts and i know how to change head and how to wire ECU.
My question is do i keep my DX distributor or go w/ EX one.
BTW i got 94 DX

depends on what ecu your going to run, to determine what distibutor your going to use. what year head and ecu do you have? you need to be a little more specific on what parts your going to use so that a correct answer can be given.i.e year for head and ecu? and donor block year

ok, now that we know what u know what to do, i am just ASSUMING you are makin a d15/vtec being the vtec head is from a d16z6?
i would completely use all EX EVERYTHING except run the d15 bottem end when converting. and i hope you are using P28 ecu.

this is just my assumptions given the info u said

correct i got p28 and Ex head, but was wondering if the Ex distributor was required or can i stay w/ DX.

dont forgot..if a d15 block..ugotta use the d15z1 sohc vtec-e timing belt

every time ive ever done a mini me ive used a dx gasket (cause its cheap ) and an ex timing belt... the head gaskets are considerably close exept for a few small differences,.. and both of mine have been done over 2 years ago on 150k plus motors,.. still running strong (need i say strong?)
