Quick question...
Im about to put in a 95 d16(si) swap in my 92 dx but i don't have the p28 ecu will it alright to just use my dx ecu?

Sure!! you can use the dx ecu but you car is not gonna run like it supposed to!!
Because the Si D16z6 is wire for Vtec, so is that what you want? then you need p28 for vtec!!

Will redlining it with a the dx ecu be a problem? I know vtec wont engage but i just it to run without any problems.

No problems!!
You are good to go, but we just saying you wont get the full benefit of the D16z6, you may even run slower then the original DX!!
Just find p28 ecu, they're cheap!!
