Default D15B7 Head question

I have a 1992 CX hatch that the head is wasted on the number thre spark plug tube fills with coolant I assume that is prolly a cracked head. I have a B7 here the bottom end is trashed but the head is good. My stock B8 does have 4v pistons so everything else should hook right up correct??? also is it gonna be ok to run the 8v ecu with the 16v head until I can afford the 16v ecu? I've been laid off for three months and just started back to work so I really need to just fix this quickly. Thanks for any help

if the pistons have 4 valve reliefs it should be ok to use the b7 head.

as far as ecu goes, you will need a p06 ecu.

they are pretty damn cheap

there might be some other modifications needed as well, but i dont know them.

someone else will chime in who knows if there is anything else you need

CEL is not a big deal as long as it runs but I have a P28 here that a friend of mine gave me for some work I did on his car.
