Default knock sensor problem

can a bad knock sensor cause your rpm to tweak up and down when the car is warm up.

nope, when the ecu can't find the knock sensor you will get a code + the ecu goes into safe mode, running rich and with less advanced timing and fuel maps

idling can easily go out of tune becuase: a IAC (rear of the manifold) and sticking plate on the TB, MAP sensor, 02 sensor and vacumm leaks, other thing to check are coolant level and air bubbles..
