knock sensor CEL... changed KS and still throws code!!! HELP!!
the car: 93 civic si hb
the motor: 95 JDM B18C1(using ECU)
a little while ago we threw a JG head, skunk cams and gears and new skunk IM after my buddy bent some valves and craked some valve guides and such after a bad 3rd to 2nd miss shift
and since then its been throwing a knock sensor CEL... code 23... we replaced the KS and it stays off for a few minutes then it will come on, especially if we mash on it... what could this be?? what does it sound like?? the motor doesnt seem to be knocking or anything??? and i was looking on the net for trouble codes and i found that there was a page that showed a left and right knock sensor... umm ive never heard of this is this true?? thanks guys!!

have you wired in the KS at all to begin with?
The wire should be going to the D3 pinout at the ecu plug.
If you do have the KS wired up, I'm not sure how you have it wired in, but if you're using a 2-wire plug...plugged into the KS, are you sure that the single pin that the KS uses is making contact to the active KS wire thats going back to your ecu? ...hope that makes sense...
Your last option would be to have the ecu reprogrammed with a disabled KS.
