hi guys,
I recently purchased an si eg hatch with a B16a.

It had ngk bkr5es plugs in the motor. would these hampeer the performance of the car. Also would swapping in a set of ngk bkr6ix-11 iridiums make a difference.

 

they would'nt hamper the performance at all, as long as they are within spec of the gap range....

would iridiums make a diiference as far as what?
performance? a bit, not very big...they'll last longer thats about it...

I personally don't pay more than 3dollars a plug, so I stay away from iridium plugs....

But many people here vouch for those plugs, its up to you if you want to spend the loot on them....

 

are there any spark plugs that make a bigger difference in performance?

I was just looking at the heat range. I was wondering if it should have been the bkr6es.

well iridiums are the best you can get,

but im saying they are not worth the hype in my eyes..especially when you wanna run a colder plug etc..i really dunno if you could get a colder plug on iridiums(someone chime in)...

I would invest my money somewhere else for HP...but whatever floats your boat..:shrugs:

 

lol I was just curious...when i become a millionare I'll get them :D. Until then I'm happy with my stock ones.
