Platinum plugs vs Iridium
platinum for performance purposes is bad. platinum is used for long life and 100K mile tune-ups.

Iridium is a precious, silver-white metal and one of the densest materials found on earth. The natural properties of Iridium offered NGK the opportunity to create one of the world's finest spark plugs. The result are spark plugs that require less voltage to spark, burns fuel more efficiently, sparks at leaner air/fuel mixtures, and delivers higher horsepower and better gas mileage. </TD></TR></TABLE>
in summary, platinum=longer tune-up intervals, iridium=higher performance
i put platinums in mine once, and they caused the car to shudder at low rpms.

yeah, dude...back off!
from personal experience, i've never had problems with ngk stuff...bosch platinums, while i'm sure they are good in german cars, did nothing but bad things for my civic.
also, i'm not arguing the legitimacy of the dyno sheets you posted, but you do know that all stats can be skewed in one way or another, right? ever hear of that stupid "supercharger" for any car for something like $50? take a dyno graph of one car without it in one gear, take the dyno graph of the same car with the "supercharger" in another gear...sure, more horsepower, but more than it would have had in that gear anyway?
besides, i put enough faith in honda to choose the right brands of plugs for me. NGK or NipponDenso...
