INSTALLING kill switch tips on a 98 ek hatch dx
install one of these. you can mount it remotely and activate it by a toggle switch placed where ever you want. you can even put a few toggle switches in series to throw them off. This is what we use on the racecars. different application but similar in principle.

i was just thinking about hooking mine up to the fuel pump wire that gets power once the ignition switch is on. would that work ?
Not really. do you have a battery drain problem or a theft problem? the problem with doing it that was is you will not have battery power to even energize the fuel pump relay. the battery kill needs to be a separate key or switch. you can wire it up to the ignition switch but that wont be a theft deterrent system. only a battery drain fix.

I'm sorry, I was under the impression that you wanted to use the fuel pump wire to trigger the battery kill switch.
You can put a switch or preferably a relay in between the fuel pump wiring. that is a pretty easy task.
The battery kill I linked before is only used for batteries. It is quite larger then the picture seems. it works the same way as a solenoid or a relay. you will have to wire it up yourself. and it is really straight forward. the only downside is having to crimp lugs larger then 6awg.

I see, yeah I'ma go a little bit easier on this and a little "ghettoer" but in the end it all works out. I really don't have 60 dollars to spend on that battery killswitch, but that is something amazing. Ive heard about race cars using those. Thanks for the info, definitely bookmarking that stuff when I become a true drag racer or something. ;]
