I had an idle problem where it would idle from 750 to 1500. Up and down, over and over again. So I did a valve adjustment on my JDM B16A. Everything was done and fired it up, now it surges up and down from 750 to 200 where it almost stalls but never does. Idle is very lumpy and sounds like I have aggressive cams. Used a timing light to get the timight right, still does it. No vacume leaks. Have a new IACV, new IM gasket, new Alternator, new Throttle body. I do have a exhaust leak on the OEM header.

Does anyone know what can cause this sort of problem?

I don't have any mods on my car cept for a Greddy SP exhaust(POS rusted out after 2 years by the way) and a K&N filter. I have been having the same problem with my idle constantly surging from about 900 to 1500. I haven't tried this yet myself but I just found another post on this site that addresses and apparently solves this problem. Here is the link below.

My problem aint the FITV, IACV, or a Vaccum leak. My idle dips down to low, it doesnt go up because of a vaccum leak.
