Got a 96 CX with a Ls and 97 OBD2 LS ecu in it, my harness is all hacked so to convert to 2-wire iacv I cut a12, a13, a14. Ran a12 to the iac plug and 12v ignition to the plug. I was still getting code 14 so I switched the wires in the plug around and am still getting code 14...

before I fixed the wiring I put in a 'good' iacv that I bought off of someone on here so i dont think its the iacv but I will try my old one...

Does anyone have any ideas of what else it could be? does the Iacv get a 12v for power? just want to make sure..

tried another IACV from a 01 gsr still the same thing...

I gues I fixed it all by myself, the problem was i was tapping in to the rad fan for power and it messed everything up. All I need now is to find a switched 12v power source under the hood, can anyone point me in the right direction?
