gsr code 6 need help!!!

Default gsr code 6 need help!!!

i replaced my rear motor mount today then... my car threw code 6 . i think it threw the code because the plug ripped out. or can it be something else.
im new to integras HElp will be appreciatied =]

Code 6 Engine coolant temperature. Its the single plug that is under the distributor, about the size of a dime, either white or black in color.

that means i have 2 buy a new ect? or is it because the plugged is ripped and it cant be plugged back in?

Im pretty sure its the plug, u can use the same one from a vtec plug, the green one, just splice it and adapt it.

alright thanks =] i thought it was the plug also i also ran a wire making both wires touch so the fan can always be on .. u think that does anything? done before the plugg ripped out and no cel

Does nothing but tell the ecu "im hot cool me down" triks it into thinking its temperature is up.

If and when u put the plug back make sure its like the old one. If u flip the wires around then ur fan may never come on and thats a problem. Theres a negative and positive to it.

ahhh **** is there any way i can tell which one is positive and negative cause i cant tell from the plug i had the wires completely came out .. and if i plug it back in the cel will go away?
