I keep getting a check engine light a few seconds after i start the car up. I tried checking the Code but its not throwing ne codes. I also hear a strange noise comming from the ECU when the car is running. NE ideas?

Crvtec in a 96 gsr

It drives completely fine

 

there is no noise comming from the ECU i was trippin but there is a CEL when the car is running but not when i check it. So i dunno?

 

the CEL should come on for 2 seconds, then go off.

when i check te CEL i get nothing (no flases at all ) but when i drive the car the CEL stayes on

 

I am a B-series idiot... but is it OBD II?

 

yes it is OBDII

 

no when hit the ignition
the cel comes on for 2 seconds then goes away
its normal.

 

but the CEL is staying on it dosent go off

car still runs very strong i dont think that there r ne problems with the ECU (crossing fingers) i think it might be something simple like an o2 sensor
