CEL After Driving
So I have a 1994 Honda Civic Ex, D16z6 motor. After the car warms up and I drive for about 15-30 min the check engine light will come on. Now if I stop and turn off the car, the CEL will dissappear. I have tried to pull the code with the paper clip looping the connector trick, but it gave me nothing. Also, the car drives just fine and the idle is fine. I checked all the connectors and none are loose, and also tried to see if i had a vacuum leak, but could not find one. So I was wondering if anyone can give me some advise/help on what to do.

Re: CEL After Driving
How long does it take for the CEL to come on?
Put the paperclip in and go drive until the CEL comes on, It should start blinking immediately. Or Just jump the connector while the car is running after the Check engine light comes on.

Re: CEL After Driving
If there are no symptoms except the cel we cannot tell you what is wrong. I'd do what the last post said and just leave it jumped until you figure it out. Good luck.
