Default How to set your idle?

Ive just finished a H22 EG swap and after sorting out a few wiring bugs im wondering what the correct procedure is for setting up the idle. Unfortunately ive already moved the idle screw which I probably wasnt meant to. Can anyone tell me how the idle screw should roughly be set? and also should the car start and run with the accell cable slackened off? Or should it pull the butterfly open slightly?

I was thinking should I idle the car high untill warm, then adjust it down to 750rpm or nearest I can get to it then disconnect battery to reset ECU and start again for 10mins without pressing the gas? Of course only once I have sorted the relationship between the idle screw and accell cable.

Thanks in advance
