Default tuning idle?

does afr affect idle?

before tuning, i was lean and idled around 800 constantly.

after tuning, im around stoich and idle drops to around 650-700. this is too low for my comfort.

does the afr have anything to do with the idle drop? can the idle rpm be raised in the tune while keeping the same afr?

a/f will effect the idle. 650-700 is a good idle.

using crome

if i remember correctly, theres a option on crome for target idle

is this what should be edited?

has nothing to with the throttle cable. only thing that changed was the tune.

Yeah crome's target idle sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. I have mine set at 1000 and my car idles perfectly at 1100, lol.

Try playing with that though. Set it to 850 or 950 and see how you like it.

Also if you have big *** cams (like skunk2 pro series) try bumping up the timing at idle, like to 21* or 22*.
