how long did it take you to remove the head?
i'm half way from removing the head so far i spent about 2 hrz but it started to rain =o( i wz just wondering how long it took you guys.. thanks in advance
After draining coolant/oil, about 30min if you leave the IM attached. Its much easier to remove outside the car.
Break bolts/nuts loose w/ratchet and use an electric drill w/socket attachment to remove them. This really speeds things up when removing the valve cover, oil bars, cam holders, and head bolts. Took me a couple hours the first time too.

If it was a race or something i could do it in like 30minutes, but i try not to rush things. Take your time, and seperate everything. Makes things alot easier when your putting the motor back together.

make sure you keep track of the bolts and stuff also theres a good howto out there somewhere on here. good luck
One great way to keep up with the bolts is to place them in sandwich bags. Apply a strip of masking tap on the bag and use a marker to label each bag. This will really help on assemble.
