Default How do you remove rear engine mount?

I am doing an auto to manual conversion in an eg and have been told I cannot use the existing rear "T" mount bracket which attaches to the engine and tranny.

A) Is this still the case if I have a B16 swapped in already?

B) I cannot figure out how to get the old one out with the engine in the car. Anyone know the trick?

Thanks.

you should be able to squeeze it though, kinda tough, but you may have to raise or lower the engine

the best advice i can give you is: when i removed mine, i used a swivel wrench and got back there and it came right off. but then again this was done with the motor out of the car.

I always remove it through the bottom. Just mess around with it and you should be able to snake it out without removing a bunch of stuff.
